We are proud to announce that Dr. Trey Vanek has been named the next Program Director for the Pain Medicine Fellowship in the Department of Anesthesiology at WVU, effective July 1st. Dr. Vanek completed his anesthesiology residency at WVU and fellowship training at Stanford University. He has shown a strong commitment to education, clinical excellence, and mentorship. Add Dr. Nanners to the list of residents who have achieved the ASA Diagnostic POCUS
Program certification!

This reflects the depth of POCUS training at WVU
Anesthesiology, including a dedicated diagnostic POCUS rotation and longitudinal ultrasound education. As a result, WVU residents meet the ASA requirement for evidence of diagnostic POCUS training as part of the certification pathway.

Add Dr. McGuire to the list of residents who have achieved the ASA Diagnostic POCUS Program certification! (Also featured, our program director, Dr. Kohli, who is one of the many faculty ASA POCUS local mentors at WVU).

This reflects the depth of POCUS training at WVU Anesthesiology, including a dedicated diagnostic POCUS rotation and longitudinal ultrasound education. As a result, WVU residents meet the ASA requirement for evidence of diagnostic POCUS training as part of the certification pathway.
