✨ Food Drive Update ✨
My daughter and I spent Friday afternoon delivering all of your food drive donations, and I wanted to share what happened because it truly warmed my heart. 🧡
Our first stop was the Blessing Box outside of Dapper Dubb’s, and it was nearly empty… just cans of veggies and diapers. As we were restocking it, Ethan (Barber/Owner) stepped outside and told us that he fills that box sometimes twice a day… and it’s often emptied within an hour.
Knowing that kind of need exists right here in our own town hit us hard.
Right then, we decided to leave everything at that Blessing Box so Ethan could keep replenishing it throughout the week as families needed it. While we were there, another person walked up with a turkey to donate, and we got to talking, they said people will even accept leftovers (like actual cooked/packaged up dinners)… and it ALL gets taken and eaten. There is no waste. Just need. And community.
I want to say this clearly:
💛 YOU made this possible.
💛 YOU helped fill that box.
💛 YOU helped local families eat this week.
Thank you to every single person who donated or bought raffle tickets. Your kindness directly fed people today — no middleman, no delay… just real help at the exact moment someone needed it.
This is what community looks like.
And I’m so grateful to be part of it. 🧡✨
Added his photo so you can see the current need (warm/winter items) I appreciate you all more than you know!
