Our McARP crew headed out for their first overnight camping adventure this weekend, and Mother Nature couldn't stop the fun! We beat the weather and made the most of an unforgettable getaway filled with friendship, fun, and new experiences! 💚

Due to the expected storm and unfavorable weather conditions, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel this Saturday’s Walktoberfest. The safety of our participants, volunteers, and community comes first. 💚

📅 We’re tentatively rescheduling for Saturday, October 10! We’re working with the Park to confirm the new date and will share updates as soon as possible.

📍💚 Empowering Excellence Conference Update!

Our ArcMorris DSPs are having a great day at the inaugural Empowering Excellence Conference—learning, connecting, sharing experiences, and celebrating the incredible work of Direct Support Professionals! 🌟

A special thank you to Dr. Stephen Cha, Commissioner of the NJ Department of Human Services, for joining the conference and sharing remarks with attendees.

As Commissioner, Dr. Cha leads the state department responsible for critical services and supports for New Jerseyans, including disability services, health care, behavioral health, aging services, and family supports. His presence today was especially meaningful as New Jersey continues its work to recognize and strengthen the direct care workforce.

We appreciate Commissioner Cha taking the time to recognize the essential role DSPs play in supporting independence, choice, dignity, and community inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 💚

Our team is soaking it all in—and we can’t wait to share more from the conference! 👏
