🌟 Crisis Intervention Training That Saves Lives 🌟

A Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) brings together first responders to support individuals experiencing serious behavioral health crises. Their goal? De-escalate dangerous situations and connect people to treatment—rather than emergency rooms or jail.

For nearly 20 years, Alliance has been a national leader in CIT training, helping communities respond safely, compassionately, and effectively.

Healing begins with conversation, connection, and community. 💚

Alliance Health's Debra Kinney, Community Education Specialist, recently facilitated a session at Worthy & Well: A Mental Health Forum, sponsored by the Upsilon Kappa Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., at the Cumberland County Headquarters Library in Fayetteville.

Centered on healing, strength, renewal, and hope, the forum brought together youth and adults from across the community to share personal experiences with mental health challenges and discuss the treatment and support services that have helped them on their journeys.

We are grateful to have been part of such a meaningful event and inspired by the courage of those who shared their stories. By creating spaces for open dialogue, we can continue breaking down stigma and empowering individuals to seek the support they deserve.

Alliance Health was proud to join the annual NAMIWalks event in support of mental health awareness, advocacy, and hope. 💚

Hosted by NAMI North Carolina, the walk brought together people of all ages — many walking in honor of their own mental health journeys or in support of loved ones. Together, we raised funds for vital mental health programs while continuing the important work of breaking the stigma around seeking help.
