The Korean American youth volunteer performance group Hope Harmony held a summer concert on July 26 for seniors living in long-term care facilities, bringing comfort and joy through music and cultural performances.
The group performed at Elevate Care Niles and Montclair Assisted Living & Memory Care, presenting a diverse program. The music and dance performance added energy and excitement to the event.
For the first time, they also visited anassisted living community. In addition to sharing Korean snacks and drinks with the residents, the students introduced Taekwondo demonstration.
Kim said the event was a meaningful opportunity for the students to honor senior residents and serve the community through their talents. He added that Hope Harmony will continue its volunteer performances to spread kindness and promote culture.
