You should always avoid touching the tip of an eye dropper to your eye—and never touch it with your fingers. An eye dropper may become contaminated with bacteria if it touches your fingers, in which case, you may need to dispose of the dropper.

If it's possible to remove the tip of the dropper, you may be able to sanitize it, but you should contact us before attempting to do so. We can provide proper guidance on what to do with a contaminated eye dropper.
