Massage therapists hear “happy ending” jokes way more often than you might think. And while someone may mean it as a joke, there’s a bigger issue behind it.

Professional massage therapy is healthcare and skilled bodywork. Sexual comments, requests, or inappropriate behavior have no place in the treatment room.

These jokes also blur the line between legitimate massage therapy and businesses involved in sexual exploitation. That distinction matters—not only for massage therapists, but for the people who may be victims of exploitation and trafficking.

So here’s your friendly reminder:
💜 Respect your massage therapist.
💜 Respect professional boundaries.
💜 And please… retire the “happy ending” joke. We’ve heard it. 😅

Massage therapists deserve to feel safe at work, just like everyone else.
