Good morning,
The extensive rain we have experienced caused a portion of our roof at Burnham’s Vital Care to collapse yesterday. Because of the quick thinking and action of our leadership, all our staff and patients remained safe which is always our first priority. We have relocated our offices to another building, and our Mobile location immediately jumped in to ensure all our patients will be taken care of without delay.
Our team naturally does things every single day that makes me incredibly grateful and proud to serve our community alongside them, but their response in instances like these overwhelm me with emotions beyond words. They are all servant leaders who care deeply about each other, our patients, and our neighbors within our community.
Our patients are some of the most resilient people on the planet. I want to reiterate that your safety and wellbeing are our top priority. If you are due to receive a delivery today, Monday, or Tuesday, you will be hearing from us to set up/confirm your therapy delivery today! If you have medication through Wednesday of next week, we will be in touch with you first thing next week. Please be patient as we work through the call list—we won’t rest until we are sure each of you are taken care of and have everything you need!
The Burnham’s Vital Care crew and entire Burnham Drugs family, Moss Point Fire Department, Mississippi Power, and Firefly Network Solutions all played critical roles yesterday in protecting our community and allowing us to get back to taking care of our patients this morning! I thank you all with my whole heart!
Warmest regards,
Erin Fryfogle, PharmD
