Nature has a way of returning us to ourselves.

An Immersion is a weekend retreat held on a private property outside Minneapolis — two days, each offering a different quality of presence.

Saturday is expressive.
A day to set things down and pick something else up.

Working with earth. Pressing living botanicals into clay and fabric. Nourishing your body with food grown close to the ground.

Permission to create without agenda.
To reconnect — with nature, with others, and with the beauty around you.

Sunday moves inward.
From the periphery toward the core.

Therapeutic yoga. Breathwork that invites you to slow down. Space to listen more carefully.

Walking meditation. Restorative practice. Stillness.
Held by the elements. Grounded in presence.

The kind of weekend that stays with you.

Two days. One weekend.
An Immersion.

What I hear often is:
“I could never do your class.”

And honestly, it took me a long time to understand why so many people feel that way.

Most of us have been conditioned to believe yoga is about flexibility, performance, or trying to make our body look like someone else’s in the room.

But that isn’t what I teach.

In my classes, there is never one “right” way to practice a pose. There are options, variations, supports, modifications, and different approaches depending on your body, your experience, your energy, your injuries, your nervous system, and what is actually needed that day.

The goal is not to force yourself into a shape.
The goal is to learn how to listen.

To move out of constant mental chatter and back into relationship with your body through awareness, action, breath, sequencing, and attention.

Sometimes that means using the wall, props for support and clarity.
Other times we back up, building the foundation first.
Often students discover strength they didn’t realize they had.

A thoughtfully sequenced practice matters. The order and physiological effects matter. The nervous system response matters. You are never left alone trying to figure it out.

You are guided.

My classes are highly interactive and personalized. I’m watching, adjusting, offering options. Teaching the principles behind what we’re doing so students learn to practice with greater clarity and confidence over time.

Yoga was never meant to be reserved for the already flexible, already calm, already strong, or already “good” at it.

You begin where you are.

That’s the practice.

An exhale.

Women arriving with their own reasons for saying yes, being brought together through practice, conversation, stillness, laughter, time in nature and care.

Supported poses, moving beyond what they thought was possible.
Hands in clay.
Fire cupping to release, gentle needles to open.
Sauna heat meeting cool lake air.
Shared meals being nourished by both the food and one another.
Shared silence , remembering through breath.
A return.

In our closing circle, the words that stayed with me were:
Joy.
Unity.
Love.
Yes.

I wish I could fully capture the way time slowed enough for people to hear themselves again — and the beauty that is shared in a circle of women.

Experiences leave imprints
we call these samskaras- impressions that shape the way we experience ourselves and the world.

Certain places, practices, and moments stay with us long after we return home.

Today in class while discussing my upcoming retreat- a woman who joined me in Sedona last year clearly stated:
“If you’re thinking about going… you just should.”

Because that samskara has been deeply received.

The rhythm of the days.
The wise earth and open sky.
The practice, the stillness, the conversations, the return to an attentive way of being.

In time, these experiences become part of us.

This retreat is intentionally small and thoughtfully curated for those wanting depth, beauty, grounded practice, meaningful connection, and true restoration.

Priority registration ends May 28🔗

An involution away from the noise of diet culture.

After building my website, I was inspired by a client who came to me in pain. She knew an anti-inflammatory way of eating could help, but did not have the confidence to take it on alone. The information online felt overwhelming. Diets felt rigid. Recipes felt complicated. And learning to cook this way felt like one more thing to manage.

What began as a simple “let’s make a smoothie” and the shopping list needed to do it quickly evolved into something much larger.

A practical tool compiling the last 16 years of how I’ve eaten, cooked, nourished my family, and supported others through functional nutrition and therapeutic care.

The result is a guided nutrition platform designed to simplify the process and help you reconnect to your body through nourishment, awareness, simple preparation, and learning what helps your body feel better.

This is not a calorie-counting app. Rather than obsessing over numbers, we begin reflecting on how we feel in response to what we are feeding our cells.

Inside the app:
Personalized anti-inflammatory meal plans
Shopping lists based on your preferences
Journaling for energy, mood, symptoms, hydration, and food diversity
Simple nourishing recipes
Kitchen, spice, and cooking essentials
Trusted brands and ingredient recommendations
Curated supplement bundles through Fullscript
Direct practitioner guidance and support

This is more than an automated meal generator. It is a supportive space designed to help you build a sustainable relationship with food, understand your body more clearly, and feel less overwhelmed in the process.

My hope is that this becomes more than a nutrition tool.

I hope it becomes a way back into listening.

As this platform continues to evolve, I’d like to offer a limited number of complimentary Foodie Founder memberships for those who want to explore this with me by using the app regularly, engaging with the process, and offering thoughtful feedback along the way.

If that sounds like you, comment “foodie” and I’ll hook you up. 🥗

I’ve been in a season of building—
creating, reworking, and finding clearer language for what I actually do.

That part has taken time.

Because I’ve never fit neatly into one thing, and every time I tried to define it that way, it felt off.

What I’ve come to understand, through the people I work with, is this:

They don’t come to me for a title.
They come because of how they feel when they’re here.

I am committed to creating spaces that feel open, safe, and non-intimidating— so people can meet themselves honestly , and allow themselves to be seen.

And from there, they’re more able to respond to their life with a kind of steadiness that carries forward.

The way I work isn’t scripted.
It’s responsive. It is shaped by years of study, healing, and close attention to the subtleties and the undercurrents of the person in front of me.

I’m direct.
I feel what’s there,
and I meet people in it.

Everything I offer comes from that place.

With the mentorship of my dear friend and ever present business coach Cindy, I rebuilt my website to reflect this more clearly.

And with the support of people in my life who continue to ask me to be honest, to be clear, and to share more boldly, I’ve been listening and
learning to say it out loud.

So this is a bit of a reintroduction.

If you’ve been here, thank you🤍
If you’re new…welcome.

This is the path I’m walking—
and the one I’m here to share. If you have a moment , take a look at my updates : justbealigned.com

Everything is energy.

For those of us who feel things deeply, it can be overwhelming—
until we learn how to work with it,
to direct it, so it doesn’t overtake us.

In this session, we focused on finding center.

We used asana with specific support for the central channel.

Through breathwork and visualization, we guided the direction of the breath with intention.

And with hands-on support,
we allowed areas of stagnation to begin to clear.

The intention was to signal the nervous system toward a state of safety and regulation. To be able to respond with clarity.

What do we hold in the hips, the pelvis?

In this workshop we explored the constraints, the pains, the instability.

We allowed gravity to release.

We realigned, grounded, strengthened and restored.

So much gratitude for this practice and the support it brings to those who choose look into themselves at this deeper level.

Namaste🙏🏽

This is more than time away.
It’s an exploration—of place, of practice, and of the part of you that’s been ready for more.

Sedona is open!
Priority booking through May 28.

There’s something about this place-the land, the quiet, the way things come into clarity.

I keep these small on purpose.

And I’ve seen what happens when women say yes to this—
they come back inspired , more grounded, more themselves.

If you feel the pull, you’ll know.
