If you’re new here, here’s how Donut Wednesday works: Each week, we deliver donuts to a local business or organization, and they get to choose where we deliver next. It’s a fun way to pass a little appreciation from one great group in our community to another.

Last week’s recipients at the Historic Cockayne Farmstead kept with the history theme and chose the Grave Creek Mound Archaeological Complex for this week’s delivery! 🏛️🍩

We're taking it all the way back to our roots. They don't call it 'MOUNDsville' for nothing! From preserving one of our area’s most significant historic sites to helping visitors learn more about the people and stories that came long before us, this team helps keep an incredible piece of local history alive. If you’re new here, here’s how it works: Each week, we deliver donuts to a local business or organization, and they get to choose where we deliver next. One delivery leads to another, giving us a fun way to recognize some pretty great people throughout our community.

Our previous recipients at the Moundsville-Marshall County Public Library chose Cockayne At Glen Dale 🏡🍩

Preserving a piece of our local history takes a lot of care, hard work, and dedication, and the team at Cockayne Farmstead helps make sure that history can continue to be shared with generations to come.

We’re pretty sure donuts weren’t on the menu at the farmstead in the 1800s... but we’re happy to help bring the tradition up to date. 😉🍩
