🕊️The Heart of Mary Magdalene Reiki🕊️

To quote Sandi Liscinsky, Reiki Master, I’m adding another tool to my toolbox! This month I will be working with her to be attuned to this magical energy.

What is the Heart of Mary Magdalene Reiki, you ask? This modality is not one of the traditional Japanese Reiki lineages such as Usui Reiki, and there isn’t a single standardized system of practice. Rather, healers who work with Mary Magdalene energy often associate the modality with divine feminine energy, heart healing, sacred sexuality and embodiment, Christ consciousness, and, of course, intuitive healing.

👸Divine feminine energy — receptivity, intuition, compassion, embodiment, and inner wisdom.

❤️‍🩹Heart healing — working with grief, forgiveness, self-love, emotional wounds, and relationship patterns.

👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩Sacred sexuality and embodiment — reconnecting spirituality with the physical body rather than viewing the body as separate from spiritual life.

🕊️Christ consciousness — unconditional love, compassion, forgiveness, or connection with the teachings attributed to Jesus.

✨Intuitive healing — meditation, visualization, symbols, prayer, crystals, chakra work, and intuitive energy placement.

Mary Magdalene as a spiritual teacher or archetype is often emphasized as a woman who embodies spiritual authority, devotion, wisdom, and transformation.

I'm not sure if it's the fading sunlight this time of year, perimenopause rearing its head, the lingering full moon energy, or a little bit of all of it combined—but yesterday was an emotional day.

I trudged through the day feeling down, beating myself up, and worrying about things that are completely out of my control. I was wasting precious time wallowing in overwhelm and fear.

After supper, I passed a mirror and turned to look myself in the eyes. I forced a smile and thought:

There she is! Where have you been all day?

You see, when I passed that same mirror earlier in the day, all I saw were the things I had been conditioned to criticize—the unkempt hair that's growing grayer by the day, tired eyes, dark circles, wrinkles, cellulite... every imperfection.

The only thing that changed this time was my perspective.

Instead of seeing myself through the lens of social media, television, or other people's expectations, I paused long enough to simply see a human being—and not judge her.

That's when all the little epiphanies started to erupt...

🫆 Those imperfections are what make me, me—and you, you.

👩‍🦳 The gray hairs are wisdom earned through years of experience, including all the worry I've carried for those I love most.
Gray hairs = Love.

👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨 The tired eyes and dark circles are from staying up too late because I wanted just a little more time enjoying my partner's company.
Tired eyes & dark circles = Love.

😂 The wrinkles hold every laugh and smile, every frown and tear that has ever crossed my face.
Wrinkles = Love.

🍨 The cellulite is evidence of every delicious bowl of ice cream, piece of cake, and morsel of chocolate I've enjoyed over 50+ years.
Cellulite = Love.

And suddenly, instead of seeing a list of flaws, I saw a life.

I'm grateful for every kind of love I've experienced. These little epiphanies reminded me that without love—and without all the experiences that come with it—our lives would be so very plain.

Without the life I've lived, the woman standing in that mirror wouldn't exist.

I wouldn't be in the most fulfilling relationship of my life.
I wouldn't be the mother I am to my son.
I wouldn't be hustling to build my Reiki practice.
I wouldn't be as healed as I am in this moment.

Every line, every gray hair, every imperfection is evidence that I have lived. I have loved. I have grown.

So I invite you to pause the next time you look in the mirror.

What would happen if you stopped looking for what's wrong and simply saw yourSelf?

How can you shift your perspective to accept, love, and grow yourSelf?

✨The Wheel is turning✨

You have more stability and power than you realize, but don’t sacrifice your peace trying to maintain control. Are you responding from a place of choice or compulsion?

The wheel is already turning, you do not have to force it. Don’t suffer today over a future that hasn’t happened yet. Stay grounded enough to recognize the change when it comes.

Surrender the need to control outcomes. You do not need to chase what is already happening. Let what is meant to shift, shift.

I release control and surrendered to divine timing.
I choose peace over fear and presence over worry.
I trust the Wheel is turning exactly as it needs to.
I am grounded, protected, and open to what unfolds.
