Everyone has different starting points in their journey and if you find yourself having attributes like the “𝐁𝐚𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭” that just means you have room for improvement. And no, that doesn’t mean you’re a “bad client” so let’s just get that out the way.

One person eats whatever is convenient.

The other plans their meals before life gets busy.

One person changes their workout every few weeks.

The other sticks to the plan long enough to actually get stronger.

One person sleeps 4 or 5 hours.

The other protects 6 to 8 hours like it’s part of the program.

One person tracks Monday through Thursday.

The other tracks on Saturday and Sunday too.

One person waits until they’re motivated.

The other trains because that’s just what they do.

And a year later…

People wonder why their results look completely different.

Your results are a reflection of the choices you repeat every day.

Not the ones you make once in a while.

One of the biggest mistakes I see people make when trying to lose weight…

They’re obsessing over the details before they’ve mastered the basics.

They’re worried about organic vs non-organic.
Added sugars.
Seed oils.
Non-GMO labels.
The ingredient list on the back of every package.

Meanwhile…

They’re eating too many calories.
Not tracking anything.
Skipping workouts.
Getting 3,000 steps a day.

It’s like arguing about the paint color of a house while the foundation is cracked.

If you have 20, 30, 40, or 50+ pounds to lose, your biggest opportunity isn’t hidden in a nutrition podcast.

It’s in the fundamentals.

✅ Eat an appropriate amount of calories
✅ Prioritize protein
✅ Strength train consistently
✅ Move your body daily
✅ Repeat for months, not days

Master the forest first.

Then worry about the trees.
