🐦‍⬛Officer Hallett has been sniffing around the spellbook again, and this week we’re working with a little crescent moon magic! 🌙

✨ THE SPELL OF GROWING POSSIBILITIES
For fresh starts and new opportunities

🕯️ You’ll need:
💚 1 green candle
💚 1 green aventurine crystal

🔮 THE SPELL

🐦‍⬛Place your green aventurine beside your candle. Take a quiet moment to focus on an opportunity, goal, or new beginning you wish to welcome into your life.

🐦‍⬛Light your candle safely and speak these words:

“As the crescent begins to grow,

May new opportunities find room to grow.

With courage, intention, and steps I take,

I welcome the paths my choices make.

May what I nurture bloom in time,

With harm to none, this wish is mine.”

✨ When you’re finished, extinguish your candle safely. Keep your crystal as a reminder that while intention can begin the journey, the steps you take help bring your goals to life.

🌿 LOOKING FOR YOUR SPELL SUPPLIES?

🧹We’ll have the green candles, green aventurine crystals, and other items for this week’s spell set aside on our shop altar! These items are specifically selected for each weekly spell, then cleansed and blessed on the altar before they’re ready for you.

🐦‍⬛Of course, we have plenty of other witchy goodies available in the shop, too, so feel free to wander, explore, and see what calls to you. 🔮✨

🍂🧹 WITCHY MEETS FERAL WEDNESDAY! 🧹🍂

🧹Here’s something we’ve been curious about…

🐦‍⬛Throughout the year, some people describe witchcraft as evil or devil worship. Yet when autumn arrives, witches’ hats, brooms, black cats, pumpkin patches, and Halloween festivities suddenly become part of the seasonal fun. 🎃🧙‍♀️

🧹And what about trunk-or-treat events? Families dress up, decorate their vehicles, and collect candy in church parking lots. But traditional trick-or-treating from house to house can sometimes be viewed very differently. 🤔🍬

🐦‍⬛So where do we draw the line?

🧹Is it simply the difference between a costume and a spiritual practice? Is it about the setting? Or does this reveal a double standard in how people view witchcraft?

🐦‍⬛We believe everyone should be able to enjoy autumn traditions without being judged for their beliefs or personal spiritual path.

🧹You can enjoy the broom without being a witch, wear the hat without practicing witchcraft, and celebrate Halloween without everyone needing to agree on its meaning.

🐦‍⬛But we think it’s fair to ask why the same symbols can be considered harmless fun for one person and something to condemn in another.

🧹Welcome to Moon Magic 101, where we’ll explore the basics of all eight Moon phases and how people incorporate them into their spiritual practices and everyday lives.

🌑 New Moon — New beginnings and setting intentions.

🌒 Waxing Crescent — Growth and taking those first steps.

🌓 First Quarter — Taking action and overcoming obstacles.

🌔 Waxing Gibbous — Building, growing, and preparing.

🌕 Full Moon — Celebration, reflection, and releasing.

🌖 Waning Gibbous — Gratitude and sharing wisdom.

🃏 THE TWO OF SWORDS

🧹So, this is the card I pulled this morning for our community, and it’s the Two of Swords.

🐦‍⬛You know those times when you’re stuck trying to make a decision, going back and forth a hundred times, and somehow you’re still right where you started? Yeah… that’s the energy of this card.

🧹Sometimes we get so caught up trying to figure everything out that we forget to just stop and listen to ourselves.

🐦‍⬛This card is a little reminder that it’s okay if you don’t have all the answers right now. Take a breath. Give yourself some time. Just don’t be afraid to be honest with yourself about what you’re feeling.
