We're honored to share that we received a grant from the Green Bay Packers Foundation, for supporting our Building Skills toward Independence Project.
The project includes three free vital programs for students and young adults in Racine County, ages 4-21, who have an intellectual or developmental disability (IDD): Student Success Advocacy Program, Health Matters Program, and the Arc 100%ers Program. Last year, we reached 637 participants over these three free programs. This year, our goal is to reach 650 participants. Thank you Packers Outreach for investing in our community and helping us to continue to make a difference!

Because of our partnership with United Way of Racine County, we can continue providing our Student Success Advocacy Program to over 350 students with intellectual or developmental disabilities, which helps those students succeed!

Myth-Busting Friday 🔍

MYTH: People with disabilities don't want to work.

FACT: Many people with disabilities want to work and contribute to their communities but often face barriers like inaccessible hiring processes, lack of accommodations, transportation challenges, and misconceptions from employers.

When workplaces are inclusive and provide reasonable accommodations, employees with disabilities bring valuable skills, perspectives, creativity, and problem-solving abilities to the job.

✅ Disability does not equal inability.
✅ Inclusive workplaces are stronger workplaces.
