You don’t have to feel full 24/7.

One of the habits that can make weight loss harder is believing that the moment you feel a little hungry, you need to eat.

Hunger is a normal signal from your body. It can naturally come and go throughout the day, especially between meals. Feeling some hunger before your next meal doesn’t necessarily mean you need an immediate snack or that something is wrong.

The key is learning to recognize true physical hunger versus eating because of boredom, stress, cravings, habit, or simply because food is available.

Before reaching for something, ask yourself: Am I physically hungry, or do I just want to eat?

Of course, the goal is never to ignore intense hunger or deprive yourself. Eating balanced meals with adequate protein, fiber, and nutrients is important. But you also don’t need to chase a feeling of fullness all day long.

Learning to become comfortable with normal hunger cues can be an important part of building a healthier relationship with food. 💚
