What happens when Vitality marries Pulse and they have a baby?

Meet… Fire Up. 🔥

This is one of the shot ideas we’re kicking around in the Rooted kitchen.

Imagine the bright citrus and ginger notes of Vitality combined with the beet-powered goodness of Pulse, then finished with a little cayenne kick.

Possible ingredients:
❤️ Beet
🍊 Orange
🍐 Pear
🍋 Lemon
🫚 Ginger
🌱 Turmeric
🔥 Cayenne

So why add cayenne?

Cayenne pepper contains a naturally occurring compound called capsaicin, which is responsible for its heat. Capsaicin has been studied for its role in supporting circulation, metabolism, and the body’s natural inflammatory response. Plus, we think it adds just the right amount of “fire” to a shot called Fire Up. 🔥

The result? A bold maroon-colored shot with a little heat, a lot of flavor, and a personality all its own.

And since we’re based right here in Mount Pleasant, MI the name Fire Up seemed fitting. 😉

🎉 BIG NEWS FROM ROOTED HEALTH & WELLNESS! 🎉

This morning, we successfully completed our wholesale inspection, and we are proud to announce that Rooted Health & Wellness is now officially licensed for wholesale distribution in the State of Michigan!

We are also proud to be the ONLY WELLNESS SHOT BUSINESS BASED OUT OF MICHIGAN that has achieved this milestone 💪

This is a huge accomplishment for our small business and a major step toward our vision of making fresh, organic wellness shots more accessible throughout Michigan and beyond.

What started as an idea has grown into countless hours of research, product development, food safety training, HACCP planning, validation studies, inspections, and determination. Today marks another important chapter in that journey.

This achievement opens new doors for growth and opportunities that we’ve been working toward since day one. We are incredibly excited for what the future holds for Rooted Health & Wellness.

🌱 UPDATE 🌱

Big things are still happening behind the scenes at Rooted Health & Wellness, and we wanted to share a few exciting updates with all of you! 💚

Our wholesale inspection has officially been scheduled for June 8th… something we have been working toward for a very long time. We’ve spent countless hours preparing, organizing documents, finalizing procedures, and getting everything in place with our HACCP binder in tow. Seeing this all come together is such an exciting milestone for our small business.

Another HUGE update… our validation study results are officially back, and our wellness shots were able to achieve a 90-day shelf life when HPP processed! 🙌

We truly cannot explain how excited we are about this. We’ve been on pins and needles for months waiting for these results, and hearing this news makes all of the hard work worth it.

So what does this mean?

Once our shots begin being HPP processed later this summer, they will:
✨ Be available for bulk purchasing
✨ Have a significantly extended shelf life
✨ Be ready for retail opportunities in stores, gyms, salons, yoga studios, wellness centers, and more

This is such a huge step forward for Rooted Health & Wellness, and none of it would be possible without the incredible support from all of you. Every order, share, comment, recommendation, and kind word has helped us continue building this dream from the ground up.

We are so thankful for this community and cannot wait to continue growing with you all.
