☀️🌊 Lake Day Memories! 🌊☀️

Last week, SOC wrapped up summer with an awesome day at the lake! We were especially happy to have our Redding crews make the trip up to join us for a day of swimming, relaxing, good food, laughter, and time together. 💙

A huge THANK YOU to all of our staff who helped make the day possible, from planning and preparing to cooking, transporting clients, setting up, cleaning up, and everything in between. Events like this take a team, and we appreciate everyone who helped make it such a great day for the people we serve!

We had a fantastic time and made some pretty great memories along the way. 🏖️☀️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by our booth yesterday and supported SOC! 💙

We had a few technical difficulties getting started, but our team worked through them and we ended up having a successful day serving breakfast burritos and biscuits & gravy to our community at the Rollin in W**d Car & Bike show.

SOC has recently started participating in more community events as a way to raise funds that directly benefit the individuals we serve. Money raised through these events goes into our donation account and helps provide things such as work gear, program activities, emergency needs, food pantry supplies, and other items our clients may need.

Every breakfast purchased, every donation made, and every person who stops by to support us helps make these opportunities possible.

We are incredibly grateful to be part of such a supportive community. Thank you for showing up for SOC and the people we serve! 💙

Around 25 of SOC staff, clients and board members attended this wonderful event today put on by College of the Siskiyous. We are so grateful to have had this experience. Many of our clients spoke with Temple and asked her questions. We even got autographs! Most of us got our books singed, some of us had our shirts signed!!
Highly recommend looking up Dr. Temple Grandin, find her movies and books to learn more about her!
