How do I know if this applies to me?

The requirement only applies to Medicaid members who are covered in Group VIII (also known as MAGI Adult or Ribicoff coverage) —generally, adults ages 19–64 who have Medicaid because their income is at or below 138% of the Federal Poverty Level.

If you are in Group VIII but have certain health conditions or meet other exemptions, you may not need to participate in activities to keep your Medicaid.

Please refer to your most recent Notice of Action (NOA) or the Ohio Medicaid Self-Service Portal (SSP) to find out your current category of eligibility.

Sierra Lybarger, APRN-CNP grew up in Howard, Ohio, so this area has always been home. “I love the small-town feel and sense of community that comes with growing up here.” She is married with two young kids and the family spends a lot time together. Family is a huge part of why being able to work and serve the community close to home is so important to Sierra.

“KCH has always felt like home to me. Being from this area and having previously worked here as an RN, I already knew and appreciated so many of the people. When I became a nurse practitioner, I really hoped I would have the opportunity to come back to KCH and care for people in the same community where I’m now raising my own family.”

“I want my patients to feel comfortable, heard, and genuinely cared for…taking the time to listen is such an important part of healthcare. I try to look at the whole person rather than just treating a diagnosis or symptom and work together with my patients to come up with a plan that makes sense for them. My goal is always to treat people the way I would want my own family to be treated.” In addition to family time outdoors, gardening, and water skiing. Sierra loves finding new coffee shops and wineries, especially when traveling. She’s always looking for a hidden gem!
