In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Southeast Shelby County Rescue held a special T-shirt fundraiser, raising $500 to benefit the Alabama Oncology Foundation.

The Alabama Oncology Foundation was recently featured on ABC 33/40’s Talk of Alabama to share more about Happy Hour for Hope, our upcoming annual benefit supporting local cancer patients and their families.

On Thursday, September 17 from 5:30–8:00 PM at Cahaba Brewing Company, we’ll come together for an evening filled with live music, delicious food, complimentary drinks, an exciting silent auction, and, most importantly, an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing cancer in our community.

Proceeds from Happy Hour for Hope directly support the Alabama Oncology Foundation’s mission to provide assistance and resources to cancer patients throughout their treatment journey.
