Are you the kind of person who naturally smiles, enjoys teamwork, and likes staying busy?

We’re looking for warm, compassionate people to join our Patient Registration Team at Desert Sage Health Centers.

As a member of our registration team, you’re more than a receptionist.

You’re often the first smile, first hello, and first sense of comfort for patients walking through our doors.

Whether someone is coming in feeling nervous, sick, stressed, or simply needing help, you help set the tone for a caring experience.

Healthcare experience is helpful, but it’s not required. We can teach the technical side. What matters most is:
• A heart for making people feel welcome
• Warm, kind communication
• A strong teamwork spirit
• Reliability and willingness to learn
• The ability to stay organized in a busy environment

Desert Sage is deeply saddened by the passing of longtime Board Member and friend Dave Tindall, who faithfully served our organization and communities for 23 years.

Dave was more than a board member. He was a champion of our mission, a believer in rural healthcare, and a steady presence whose wisdom and encouragement helped shape Desert Sage into what it is today.

As a rancher, Dave understood hard work, resilience, and caring for people through both good seasons and difficult ones. He carried those same values into every conversation and every decision he made on behalf of Desert Sage. He believed deeply in preserving access to healthcare for rural communities and protecting the mission of caring for others without barriers.

Those who were lucky enough to know Dave will remember his warm smile, gentle confidence, thoughtful stories, and quiet ability to make even difficult things feel possible. He had a tough but kind spirit, the kind that could offer guidance without demanding attention. Even in leadership, he led with humility and heart.

Our former CEO shared that the Desert Sage facility in Mountain Home stands as a reflection of Dave’s belief in what this organization could become. His encouragement and steady support helped inspire the work that built a facility that will serve this region for generations.

We like to think that somewhere over Bruneau/Owyhee, Dave is riding with his new angel wings, humble as ever, faithful as always, and still watching over the people and communities that meant so much to him.

Thank you, Dave, for your decades of service, your wisdom, your kindness, and your unwavering belief in Desert Sage Health Centers. Your legacy will continue to live on in the patients we serve, the communities we care for, and the mission you helped protect for so many years.

Rural healthcare isn’t easy, but it's worth fighting for.

As we look toward 2026, we want to begin with a sincere thank you to the communities we serve. Over the past year, you’ve stood with us through real change; some exciting, some difficult, and your trust has mattered more than you know.

Healthcare continues to evolve, from Medicaid updates to changes in ACA and Medicare coverage. More change is ahead, and we know that can feel uncertain. What we want our communities to know is this: Desert Sage Health Centers remains deeply committed to serving rural communities across our region. Our mission, to provide quality care close to home for everyone, has not changed.

What also hasn’t changed is our team's commitment. We are proud of the dedicated team members who show up every day with skill, compassion, and heart, and who continue to adapt so we can meet our patients where they are.
