Job Summary:
The DME Technician is responsible for delivering, setting up, maintaining, and repairing durable medical equipment for patients in homes or healthcare facilities. This role ensures equipment functions properly, meets safety standards, and that patients understand how to use it correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver, assemble, and demonstrate the safe use of medical equipment (e.g., oxygen concentrators, CPAP machines, wheelchairs, hospital beds).
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on equipment.
Complete documentation for deliveries, maintenance, and patient education.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (technical or healthcare experience preferred).
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Keitha Jaccellari, FNP-C has more than 30 years of healthcare experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1994 and became a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner in 1995. She spent many years working as a registered nurse in home health, orthopedic pre-operative and post-operative care, and various hospital settings. 🏥

In 2014, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner program at Arkansas State University, graduating with honors. She also received ASU's award for her research project on diabetes self-management. Throughout her career, Keitha has practiced in rural family medicine, immediate care, and integrative care. ✅

She is passionate about health promotion, disease prevention, and helping patients gain the knowledge they need to achieve their healthcare goals.⚕️
