Your bladder habits matter more than you might think. 👀

Going “just in case,” holding it way too long, hovering over the toilet, and pushing to p*e can all affect the way your bladder and pelvic floor work together.

If you’re dealing with urgency, frequent bathroom trips, leaking, difficulty emptying your bladder, or other bladder concerns, you don’t have to just deal with it.

At TOTAL Pelvic & Lymph Health, pelvic floor therapy can help identify what may be contributing to your symptoms and create a treatment plan specific to you. 💜

No referral needed. Reach out to us to schedule an evaluation!

Not all swelling is the same. 🩵

Everyday swelling may improve with rest or elevation, while lymphedema may persist, affect one side more, or feel heavy, tight, and full. Small changes can be worth noticing, especially after surgery, radiation, lymph node removal, infection, or injury.

If swelling keeps returning, worsens, or begins affecting your comfort or movement, consider talking with a healthcare provider. Early evaluation can help identify the cause and guide the right care.

One of the biggest misconceptions about pelvic floor therapy is that it’s just internal treatment or lying on a table.

Pelvic floor physical therapy is still physical therapy.

Yes, manual therapy has its place, but movement is just as important. We use individualized exercises to improve strength, coordination, breathing, balance, and functional movement so you can get back to the things you love doing with confidence.

Because the goal isn’t just to feel better during your appointment, it’s to help you move and live better every day. 💙
