Recently, I had the pleasure of providing scalp treatment training for my wonderful colleague, Olha HAIRDRESSER | HAIRSTYLE | NEW BRITAN, the owner of Lesniak beauty salon in Connecticut, who is incredibly passionate about her work.

During the training, we combined theory with hands-on practice. Step by step, we went through the entire scalp treatment process, so she could confidently introduce this service into her salon.

Olha learned how to ask the right questions during a consultation, what to look for when examining the scalp, how to identify different concerns, how to apply the products correctly, and what results to expect from the treatment.

I truly appreciate her dedication, professional vision, and desire to provide the best possible service for her clients.

I’m so proud to be part of her professional journey and to support the meaningful opportunities she is creating for herself and her clients.

Because helping people is not just a job. It’s a mission. 🌟

Hair quality changes over the years. It’s normal, but no one tells us how to handle it.

Why do I always recommend shampooing your hair twice? 👀

Because the first shampoo cleans, and the second shampoo treats.

The first wash removes oil, sweat, dry shampoo, styling products, SPF, pollution, and buildup from the scalp. That’s why sometimes your shampoo doesn’t foam much the first time — it is working through the residue.

The second wash allows the shampoo to reach the scalp better, spread evenly, foam properly, and let the active ingredients actually do their job.

This is especially important if you have:
• oily scalp
• flakes or itching
• buildup
• seborrheic dermatitis
• hair loss routine
• or you wash only 1–2 times per week

But remember: shampoo is for your scalp, not your hair length. Massage the scalp gently and let the foam rinse through the ends — don’t rub the length aggressively.

Healthy hair starts with a properly cleansed scalp 🤍
