We just can’t get enough of Anello 💙

“CSH in New Brunswick is the best children’s rehab that I’ve ever experienced and heard of. It was an extremely safe and clean environment where my child was provided an abundance of varied therapy. The nurses treated the patients like their own children, providing a loving and warm environment where all their needs were met promptly and thoroughly. Some nurses even went above and beyond in selflessness and awing in generosity. The Family Faculty support event groups were outstanding. Having a few nights of the week where activities were scheduled really impacted the experience - time to reset and partake in therapeutic games, crafts, and socialization made this time at a hospital so much better!” – Anello’s mom, Elena

Throughout June and July, MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford will be hosting several FIFA World Cup matches including the World Cup Final on July 19. While we are very excited to welcome this international event to New Jersey, we anticipate increased traffic, road congestion, and longer travel times on match days due to the stadium’s proximity to some of our hospitals and outpatient sites. ⚽

We strongly encourage planning ahead and allowing extra travel time when visiting one of our offices. Please call us at 888-244-5373 with any questions.

Meet Kellyn!✨

On today's we are so excited to introduce you to Kellyn. Kellyn is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Children's Specialized Hospital's Union site. Kellyn is a cherished part of the CSH community and was recently awarded the IRIS award!

The IRIS award recognizes an outstanding Certified Nurse Assistant whose compassion, dedication and professionalism elevate the care experience for our patients and families everyday. This award honors individuals who consistently go above and beyond.

"To me, being a CNA means caring for others with compassion, patience, and kindness. It’s about being there for patients during vulnerable moments and making sure they feel safe, comfortable and cared for. I treat my patients the same way I would want my own family to be treated, which is why I always try to give the best care possible.

One of the proudest moments of my career at CSH has been receiving the IRIS award. To me, this award represents the impact I’ve made on my patients, their families, and my coworkers.

A fun fact about being a CNA is we spend the most one-on-one time with patients, which means we get to build strong bonds and make a real difference in their day."

Today is National Certified Nursing Assistant Day and we are proud to have such amazing CNAs who make such an impact on patients, families, and staff at CSH. Thank you Kellyn and all of our CSH Certified Nursing Assistants.

This , RWJBarnabas Health is proud to join the Ad Council in support of its campaign encouraging people to keep their loved ones safe from firearm injuries. Gun violence continues to be a devastating health crisis. Hear from some of our trauma team members about its impact.
