October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to honor survivors, remember those we’ve lost, support individuals navigating a diagnosis, and encourage education and early detection. But breast cancer awareness is about more than a pink ribbon. It is also about recognizing the profound ways cancer and its treatments can affect the body, mind, and emotional well-being and understanding that healing and recovery do not always end when treatment is complete.
At Flow State Lymphatics & Energy Wellness, I believe supportive care should honor the whole person, creating space for rest, connection, comfort, and renewal throughout every stage of the cancer journey.
Read the full blog for in depth look at how supportive and complimentary manual therapies can keep us thriving beyond the pink ribbon.
