We’re Opening a Mead Tap Room in Downtown Murchison
Sometimes you don’t go looking for the next step.
Sometimes you walk into a building… and you just know.
Recently, we found a place in Downtown Murchison that has the bones for everything we’ve been wanting to build — production space, room for a tap wall, tastings, small foods and pizza, and space to gather.
So we’re doing it.
Vinland Meads is opening a Meap Tap room in Downtown Murchison.
Clyde has been quietly saving kegs back for this moment. When we open, we’ll have mead ready to pour.
The building already has most of what we need — now we get to build it out. Tables. Chairs. A proper tap wall. The details that turn a building into a hall.
We’ll also have space inside for Hays Manor honey and beeswax goods, books and provisions, and a dedicated display for Heathen Beard Company.
We’re currently working through the licensing transfer process, which takes a few months. While that moves forward, we’ll be cleaning, building, and sharing the progress along the way.
And we’d love for you to be part of it.
We’re launching a Kickstarter campaign to help fund the build-out. We’ll post updates, upgrades, and behind-the-scenes progress there — and offer rewards for those who want to help us bring this to life.
If you want to follow the journey or back the project, head over to Kickstarter and follow our campaign.
Let’s build something lasting in Downtown Murchison.

We’re opening our Meadery to the public—building a taproom where you can drink, gather, and experience Vinland Meads.
