One of the most beautiful things to witness at a birth is LOVE. 💗 This husband held and loved his wife throughout her entire labor, not even eating because she couldn’t.

Birth is a bonding experience like none other. The two that are one adding a sweet little girl to their adorable family. Both admiration and concern from her husband’s eyes.

A doula never interrupts she simply allows love to flow as she serves quietly and secondarily. Dad is the most important support in the room. His strength to hold his wife and his love to carry her throughout labor.

I have been attending births for over 20 years, and I’m always surprised. Babies don’t follow predictions or patterns. There are physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual things to consider. There is so much more to birth than birth itself. They don’t call it labor for nothing.

Growing Your Nest has been one of my most meaningful accomplishments. I love how God orchestrated my steps in the middle of a dark and scary season. Thinking I would go back to work in labor and delivery and ending up doing the part of that work I so loved. Each family I have served hold a precious place in my heart. 🤍
