Dollywood — Disability Access Pass

I have to share how incredible Dollywood is when it comes to guests with disabilities. They offer a disability pass that works much like a fast pass and covers up to five people in your group. Depending on the ride, there's a 30-minute to one-hour wait before boarding your next attraction — which worked perfectly for us, as it kept our daughter from becoming overstimulated.

When you arrive at the park, head to the station where they measure your child's height and ask about the disability pass. A staff member will point you in the right direction and bring you to a private room, where they'll ask a few questions about your child (or yourself) in order to issue the pass.

My husband and I stood in line for an hour before another guest told us about this program — I only wish we'd known sooner. If you're visiting Dollywood, it is absolutely worth looking into.
