We were honored to be voted again as one of the Main Street Award finalists for Best Pharmacy in Murfreesboro!

We know there are lots of choices for pharmacies in our town (around 50-ish actually!), so we are grateful for each of our wonderful patients who support us every day! ❤️

We have lots of new patients and followers, so we thought August was a good time to reintroduce us all! Look for more info about our awesome staff over the next few weeks!

First up, our Pharmacist-in-Charge, Keith Beckman. And it happens to be his birthday today!! 🎉 Here’s a little more about him:

Keith graduated from MTSU with a degree in biology and graduated from University of Tennessee Pharmacy School in 2010. He is a supporter of all things Murfreesboro, and currently serves on the board for Gallagher Fest, a local Downtown music festival.

Q: A little background about you and your road to pharmacy:

“I’ve been around this pharmacy my entire life. 44 years to be exact. I grew up inside Beckman’s Prescription Shop and consider it an honor to be owner and Pharmacist-In-Charge at such a special place that my family built from the ground up.”

Q: What do you love most about your job:

“It’s gotta be the people. We have the best patients possible. I get such enjoyment out of helping all types of people navigate the healthcare system and solve their own personal issues. It’s truly a joy to do what you love everyday.”

Q: What do you like to do when you aren’t at the pharmacy: Art, Music, Live Music (concerts), and sports (Nashville SC!)

Fun Fact: “I’ve officially been going to the Bonnaroo Music Festival for over half my life!”

We were excited to be a part of the Community Helpers of Rutherford County’s Inaugural Stronger Together Luncheon this week! It is a blessing everyday for our pharmacy to be able to work with Community Helpers to serve our patients and provide much needed assistance to our neighbors. It was a great event with lots of familiar faces and lots of the people who make our community so special!

Community Helpers of Rutherford County is a non-profit organization in here in Murfreesboro that provides emergency financial aid, rent and utility support, and prescription medication assistance to low-income individuals and families facing crisis or hardship.

We’re thankful for the work they do in our community and proud to be a small part of their mission. ❤️

Who vaccinates the vaccinators? 💉

We Do!!! 😎

Yesterday it was our turn to get our Tdap vaccines, so naturally we gave each other our shots. (Special shoutout to our new niece arriving in 2 weeks! Tdap is the best protection against Whooping Cough for small babies, so we are happy to do our part to keep our family and community safe!)

Fun fact: We were actually partners in our immunization certification course during our first year of pharmacy school TWENTY years ago. Back then we were practicing giving shots to each other, and all these years later, not much has changed! We may be partial, but we are the 2 best immunizers in town (and most of our patients agree!)

If you're due for a Shingles vaccine, RSV, pneumonia, Tdap, or another recommended vaccine, stop by and see us. We'll make it quick, gentle, and we promise you’ll leave with a smile! 😃
