Wisdom Teeth Removal: The First 72 Hours Matter!
Recovery begins the moment your procedure ends.
Dr. Hendrickson's approach to wisdom teeth removal includes EXPAREL®, a long-acting, non-opioid local anesthetic designed to help manage pain for up to 72 hours after surgery.
This opioid-sparing approach helps reduce the need for traditional opioid pain medications while supporting a more comfortable recovery.
For families traveling from across the country, thoughtful planning and post-operative care are essential parts of the DWT experience.
Because wisdom teeth removal isn't just about the procedure. It's about everything that comes after.

🦷 MYTH vs. REALITY
MYTH: Wisdom teeth removal is mostly for teenagers.
REALITY: Adults may account for more than half of wisdom teeth extractions in the U.S.
Wisdom teeth don’t suddenly stop causing problems once you leave your teenage years. Pain, infection, decay, gum problems, and impacted wisdom teeth can affect adults too.
Whether you’re 17 or 37, if your wisdom teeth are bothering you, or you’ve been told they should come out—it may be time to have them evaluated.
At Dr. Wisdom Teeth / Wisdom Teeth Only, wisdom teeth are all we do.

A patient saying “no” to wisdom teeth removal isn’t always about the procedure.
Sometimes they’re nervous. Sometimes they’ve heard a bad story. Sometimes they simply don’t know what to expect.
Taking a few extra minutes to explain what’s going to happen, answer their questions, and make them comfortable can change the entire conversation.
When wisdom teeth are all you do, you learn pretty quickly that how you talk about the procedure matters too.
