Options Wellness is proud to share that our very own Amy Beth Hall is now a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner!

At work today, our administrator, Whitney Sanders BSN, asked if I knew what today was. I had to think… it is nearing the end of birthday month when I can legitimately dance on tables, but what else? Then it hit me. One year ago today I had my third and worst cardiac event (heart attack).

We had returned from lunch and I was doing an annual gynecological exam on a my first afternoon patient. As I was examining her pelvis, the pain hit. I knew from previous experience exactly what was happening. I knew I would either drop dead quickly or I had a few minutes. I didn’t want to frighten my patient, so I quickly finished her exam. I don’t think she ever knew anything was going on. I went out looking for my highly skilled partners who immediately took over stabilizing me until the EMTs arrived. I was in surgery with the brilliant Theresa Lango, MD within the hour.

Thank the Lord and partners Amy Beth Hall FNP - C and Whitney Sanders BSN, I lived to laugh about my “specialist heart attack”. Steps were made to improve my cardiovascular health and I am better than ever.

I have loved living this past year and by the grace of God, pray for many more! It truly is a Happy Anniversary ♥️
