This space is unhurried, gentle, and rooted in connection-- where each guest is welcomed with intention and compassion. I’m Michelle, and I’ve been a Master Cosmetologist since 1998 — though my love for hair and beauty started well before that. I actually began working in the industry a couple of years before earning my license and was blessed to graduate with honors. From the very beginning, I kn
ew this was more than just a career for me — it was a calling. In my early years, I owned and operated a full-service salon, where I had the joy of serving a wonderful community of clients. I loved creating beautiful transformations, building relationships, and helping people feel confident in their own skin. For me, doing hair has always been about more than the outer beauty — it’s about touching hearts, lifting spirits, and sharing God’s love through every conversation and connection. After many years of working full-time in the salon, I eventually transitioned to working in the school system to have more stability and benefits for my family. Even then, I never stopped doing hair on the side — it’s just part of who I am! My chair has always been a place of laughter, encouragement, and always prayer. A few years ago, I faced some health challenges and was diagnosed with Graves’ Disease. It was a tough season, and I had to take a step back for a while to focus on my health. But through it all, the Lord carried me and gave me strength to keep moving forward. I’m doing so much better now with a few flare ups here and there but... — feeling renewed, grateful, and excited to be back doing what I love most. Over the years, I’ve continued to invest in my craft, taking advanced classes in hair color, lightening, cutting, and barbering. I believe there’s always something new to learn, and staying current keeps me creative and inspired. Above all, I love the Lord with all my heart, and I see this work as my ministry. Every client who sits in my chair is more than just a customer — they’re someone I have the privilege to serve, encourage, and hopefully bless in some small way. So whether you’re looking for a fresh new look or just a moment to relax and be refreshed, I’d love to welcome you to my chair.
