🦷❤️ The rewarding side of becoming a Dental Assistant that nobody talks about enough!

When people think about dental assisting, they often think about cleanings, X-rays, and helping the dentist. But there is SO much more to this career!

Did you know your oral health is directly connected to your overall health?

🩺 Gum disease can make it harder for people with diabetes to manage their blood sugar.

❤️ Oral health is closely connected to overall wellness, and dental professionals play an important role in helping patients prevent and recognize problems.

🧒 Children with poor oral health are nearly THREE times more likely to miss school because of dental pain.

🤰 Dental health is especially important during pregnancy, when women can be more susceptible to cavities and gum disease.

Now imagine being part of the team that helps make a difference.

✨ You’re the reassuring voice helping a nervous child feel safe during their first dental appointment.

✨ You’re helping an adult who has avoided the dentist for years finally feel comfortable seeking care.

✨ You’re part of helping someone overcome dental pain, regain confidence, and smile without embarrassment.

✨ You’re educating patients on habits that can positively impact their health for years to come.

Dental assisting isn’t just about teeth. It’s about PEOPLE. ❤️

At Idaho Dental Assisting School, we believe a career should be more than just a paycheck. It should be something you can feel proud of.

Meet the Family Behind Idaho Dental Assisting School 🦷🤍

Meet our owner and director, Clayce Lanham!

With 19 years of experience in the dental field, Clayce founded Idaho Dental Assisting School with one goal: to create a supportive, hands-on learning environment where students feel encouraged, capable and prepared to succeed.

In addition to leading the school, you may also see Clayce instructing throughout the program. She works hard to create a nurturing and dynamic environment where both students and staff can grow and thrive. Starting this locally owned program gave her the opportunity to help others build successful careers in dental assisting, and she couldn’t wait to get started.

Outside of the classroom, Clayce loves spending time with her husband and their three children on their little ranch in Sweet, Idaho.

When you choose Idaho Dental Assisting School, you’re supporting a local Treasure Valley family, and joining a school that will treat you like part of theirs.
