✨🍂FALL IS HERE, BUT YOUR SPF IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE! 🍂
As we welcome cooler mornings, beautiful autumn colors, and shorter days, remember: the temperature may change, but the sun’s ultraviolet rays don’t disappear!
Here’s what your skin needs to know:
UVA rays pe*****te deeper into the skin, contributing to collagen breakdown, premature wrinkles, uneven pigmentation, and sun damage. They can even pe*****te window glass.
UVB rays are primarily responsible for sunburn and direct DNA damage.
Both contribute to skin cancer risk, and UV exposure remains possible throughout the year—even on cloudy days.
Protect your skin intentionally:
☀️ Choose broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher.
☀️ Apply generously to your face, neck, ears, and exposed skin.
☀️ Reapply every two hours when outdoors and after swimming or sweating.
☀️ For melasma and hyperpigmentation, consider tinted sunscreen containing iron oxides for additional visible-light protection.
Remember, cooler weather does not automatically mean lower UV exposure. UV intensity varies with season, location, altitude, and time of day.
Your skin doesn’t recognize seasons. It responds to exposure.
At Monarch, protecting your radiance is part of honoring your sacred space.
Nourish it. Protect it. Honor it. Every season 🍂
