From starter to bread π
First time making sourdough bread and I attempted a gluten free jalapeΓ±o πΆ cheddar π§ sourdough, I have to say it came out pretty good.
Lessons learned:
- your starter does better in a warmer climate. Do not leave directly on a quartz coutertop as it's too cold. I placed a potholder under the jar to give it a barrier.
- your starter may take longer to sour, don't rush it and keep feeding it.
- once dough is made don't rush the rising process. Sometimes you have to let it rise longer than the recipe.
