Permanent makeup (PM) is a safe and completely controlled method of depositing cosmetic pigments into the outmost upper layer of the skin. PM helps you look your best even with busy and active lifestyle. If you are considering a PM procedure you need to know that PM can and should look NATURAL. Having your eyebrows, eyes or lips done you will have a great effect on your overall look, however, pe

ople will have trouble figuring out how you look so good in the morning, at the gym, at the pool or at the beach. We do our best to make your procedure as comfortable and painless as possible. Even though the level of sensitivity varies by individual, some of our clients actually fall asleep during the procedure. You can familiarize yourself with the details of the procedures at www.pmesthetics.com

Sometimes the best brow correction is… NO MORE permanent pigment. 🤎

This client came to me wanting darker brows.

And I completely understand why. Her brows looked very light and she wanted more definition.

But here’s what I saw as a PMU artist:

She has fair skin, light hair and very light natural brow hairs. Adding another layer of permanent pigment wasn’t necessarily the best solution.

Permanent makeup is not regular makeup. Pigment remains in the skin for years, and its appearance can change as it fades.

So when a client repeatedly asks to make her PMU darker, I always ask myself:

Does she really need MORE pigment in her skin — or do we simply need to make her natural brow hairs more visible?

In this case, we chose the simplest solution.

We tinted her natural brow hairs.

That’s it. Look at the difference.

The existing shape didn’t need to become heavier. We simply brought out the brow hairs she already had, creating a darker, fuller and more defined appearance without adding another layer of PMU.

This is especially important for my clients with fair skin, blonde or gray hair and light brows.

Sometimes MORE pigment is not better.

Sometimes the most professional decision I can make as a permanent makeup artist is to tell you:

“You don’t need another PMU procedure.”

My goal isn’t to put as much pigment as possible into your skin.
My goal is to create brows that look beautiful today — and that I’ll still be happy with years from now.

Not sure what your brows actually need?

Send me a clear photo in natural daylight. I can help determine whether you may benefit from a refresh, color correction, removal — or something as simple as a brow tint.

HEADS UP! 🪐🌖💫 Three incredible sky events in *one day* across the world on Wednesday. A Six-Planet Parade in the morning, Total Solar Eclipse in the afternoon/evening followed by the Perseid Meteor Shower at night! Here's what you need to know:

1) Before dawn, six planets — Mercury, Jupiter, Mars, Uranus, Saturn and Neptune — will be spread across the morning sky, although Uranus and Neptune require optical assistance to see well.

2) Then during the afternoon, a total solar eclipse will sweep across Greenland, Iceland, northern Russia, Spain while portions of the northern United States, Canada and other parts of the Northern Hemisphere will see a partial eclipse.

3) After dark, the show continues as the Perseid meteor shower reaches its peak overnight into August 13, with the New Moon providing exceptionally dark skies for what is expected to be one of the best meteor-viewing nights of the year!

August 12th is one of those rare days when the sky puts on a show nearly around the clock. Enjoy!

This is almost my oldest client — a lovely woman who is nearly 90 years old. Her skin is actually in quite good condition, and I was able to perform a very soft powdered brow procedure for her. I truly hope we will both be happy with the healed result, and I look forward to seeing her again in four weeks for her touch-up.

Today, I can honestly say that about 90% of my clients are mature women, and I truly love working with them. They are grateful clients who genuinely need my help. Some have vision problems, some have shaky hands and can no longer draw their brows, and others have different challenges that make brow maintenance difficult.

If you know someone like this, please let them know that I offer a special price for seniors age 65+ — $395.

I’ll also attach another video showing how I work on mature skin and how beautifully the pigment can stay.

Words can’t express how incredibly happy I am with this result! This was a challenging case, but I thrive on difficulty. It is in these moments that I truly feel the depth of my expertise. Working through complexities only makes me a better artist. I am incredibly proud of this transformation!

I truly love working with mature clients — especially when the result looks this soft, natural, and harmonious.

There are a few professional details in this work. Some people may notice that I did not place the brows too close together in the front. This is intentional. In this area there are strong facial muscles, and when a person frowns the brows naturally move closer together. If the brows are tattooed too close, the face can look tense. That’s why I always keep a natural distance in the front.

Another important point — I never create very long brow tails. As we age, facial tissues gradually descend, and long tails can make the face look sad or heavier. I prefer to keep the tails shorter and lifted for a fresher expression.

During the touch-up we slightly adjusted the brow thickness to make the shape even more balanced.

Overall, I love this result — the brows look soft, elegant, and very natural while beautifully supporting the client’s facial features.

I always try to be honest with my clients about when permanent eyeliner is not recommended.

If the eyelid skin looks like in these photos, unfortunately this type of skin is not a good candidate for permanent eye makeup.

Main signs:
— lack of skin elasticity
— almost no fat tissue in the eyelid area
— very thin skin
— deep folds and wrinkles
— it is not possible to create proper, stable skin tension during the procedure
— reduced levels of collagen and elastin in the skin

In this situation, the risk of hitting capillaries increases because the skin is very thin and blood vessels are closer to the surface. Normally, collagen and elastin act as a kind of “protective cushion” for the skin, but when they are significantly reduced, the skin becomes much more vulnerable.

As a result:
— pigment may not deposit evenly
— the line may blur or spread
— there is a higher risk of skin trauma
— the final result may not look clean or aesthetic

For this reason, I prefer to honestly decline the procedure rather than perform work that will not produce a safe and beautiful result

If someone decided to “steal” this photo,
they’d probably use it to show a “before & after” of a brow lift… or even plastic surgery.

Because the transformation here is truly phenomenal.

Brows change everything.
They can completely reshape the face, open the взгляд, soften features, and restore balance.

And honestly — you could easily believe this was an endoscopic brow lift or blepharoplasty…

But it’s not.

This is permanent makeup.

A very precise, thoughtful, and challenging work.
Her natural brow sits lower than the ideal arch line, even below the bone structure —
so we had to carefully reshape, remove a significant amount of hair,
and literally rebuild the form from scratch.

We searched for the perfect shape for a long time…
and this is what we created.

Now we wait for healing — and I truly hope the final result will make us even happier.

These are the kinds of transformations I love the most.

Sometimes I catch myself thinking out loud…
When clients cancel last minute, don’t show up, or simply stop answering their phones — somehow, that’s considered normal.
But the moment something happens on your side… something unexpected, a simple human mistake — suddenly it’s not acceptable. There’s no room for error.
And more and more often, I feel like clients stop seeing you as a person… and start seeing you as a service. Like you’re not human anymore.
And honestly — that hurts. Lately, I’ve been feeling like you’re expected to be more than just a specialist.
Not just someone who works on brows…
But a machine.
A machine that fixes everything — your scheduling issues, your memory, your name mix-ups, your calendar, even your health.

But here’s the truth: we are not machines.

We are people.
With lives.
With responsibilities.
With emotions.

And we are not obligated to carry everything for everyone. We are here to do our work with care, professionalism, and heart. But we are still human.
And sometimes, we deserve the same understanding we give so easily to others.

And I have a question to my fellow artists, specialists, colleagues…

Do you feel it too lately?

Like something has shifted…
Like clients have started treating us differently?
Is it just me… or have you noticed it too?
I’d really love to hear your experience ❤️
