This is almost my oldest client — a lovely woman who is nearly 90 years old. Her skin is actually in quite good condition, and I was able to perform a very soft powdered brow procedure for her. I truly hope we will both be happy with the healed result, and I look forward to seeing her again in four weeks for her touch-up.

I truly love working with mature clients — especially when the result looks this soft, natural, and harmonious.

There are a few professional details in this work. Some people may notice that I did not place the brows too close together in the front. This is intentional. In this area there are strong facial muscles, and when a person frowns the brows naturally move closer together. If the brows are tattooed too close, the face can look tense. That’s why I always keep a natural distance in the front.

Another important point — I never create very long brow tails. As we age, facial tissues gradually descend, and long tails can make the face look sad or heavier. I prefer to keep the tails shorter and lifted for a fresher expression.

During the touch-up we slightly adjusted the brow thickness to make the shape even more balanced.

Overall, I love this result — the brows look soft, elegant, and very natural while beautifully supporting the client’s facial features.

I always try to be honest with my clients about when permanent eyeliner is not recommended.

If the eyelid skin looks like in these photos, unfortunately this type of skin is not a good candidate for permanent eye makeup.

Main signs:
— lack of skin elasticity
— almost no fat tissue in the eyelid area
— very thin skin
— deep folds and wrinkles
— it is not possible to create proper, stable skin tension during the procedure
— reduced levels of collagen and elastin in the skin

In this situation, the risk of hitting capillaries increases because the skin is very thin and blood vessels are closer to the surface. Normally, collagen and elastin act as a kind of “protective cushion” for the skin, but when they are significantly reduced, the skin becomes much more vulnerable.

As a result:
— pigment may not deposit evenly
— the line may blur or spread
— there is a higher risk of skin trauma
— the final result may not look clean or aesthetic

For this reason, I prefer to honestly decline the procedure rather than perform work that will not produce a safe and beautiful result

If someone decided to “steal” this photo,
they’d probably use it to show a “before & after” of a brow lift… or even plastic surgery.

Because the transformation here is truly phenomenal.

Brows change everything.
They can completely reshape the face, open the взгляд, soften features, and restore balance.

And honestly — you could easily believe this was an endoscopic brow lift or blepharoplasty…

But it’s not.

This is permanent makeup.

A very precise, thoughtful, and challenging work.
Her natural brow sits lower than the ideal arch line, even below the bone structure —
so we had to carefully reshape, remove a significant amount of hair,
and literally rebuild the form from scratch.

We searched for the perfect shape for a long time…
and this is what we created.

Now we wait for healing — and I truly hope the final result will make us even happier.

Sometimes I catch myself thinking out loud…
When clients cancel last minute, don’t show up, or simply stop answering their phones — somehow, that’s considered normal.
But the moment something happens on your side… something unexpected, a simple human mistake — suddenly it’s not acceptable. There’s no room for error.
And more and more often, I feel like clients stop seeing you as a person… and start seeing you as a service. Like you’re not human anymore.
And honestly — that hurts. Lately, I’ve been feeling like you’re expected to be more than just a specialist.
Not just someone who works on brows…
But a machine.
A machine that fixes everything — your scheduling issues, your memory, your name mix-ups, your calendar, even your health.

But here’s the truth: we are not machines.

We are people.
With lives.
With responsibilities.
With emotions.

And we are not obligated to carry everything for everyone. We are here to do our work with care, professionalism, and heart. But we are still human.
And sometimes, we deserve the same understanding we give so easily to others.

Do you see the difference?

In these photos — two clients after the first pass of permanent eyebrow makeup.

On the left — healthy skin
On the right — skin affected by an eyebrow growth serum

And this is NOT about the artist’s technique. It’s about the condition of the skin.

When the skin is healthy:
pigment goes in evenly and gently
healing is smooth
the result is predictable and beautiful

When a growth serum is used:
the skin becomes thinner and more sensitive
redness and micro-trauma can appear
pigment may spread or heal unevenly
the healing process can be more difficult

It’s important to understand:
even the best technique cannot create a perfect result if the skin is not ready

That’s why I always ask about growth serums before the procedure

If you are using one — please stop at least 6 months before your appointment (ideally 1 year). But still there is no guarantee:(

Healed results will appear about 60% lighter and much softer.

Right now the brows look darker because the skin is irritated after the procedure. This is a skin reaction, not the actual pigment color. A soft dark-blonde pigment was used, which will heal lighter and more natural.

The skin was very sensitive and there was significant bleeding during the procedure, so the work had to be done very carefully — step by step, with gentle passes and careful use of anesthetic.

Making the brows thinner was not possible because the natural brows sit at different heights. To create balance, I had to slightly add shape under one brow and above the other. This allowed us to visually correct the asymmetry and create a more harmonious look.

This is a healed eyeliner after two sessions and a touch-up.
The client came back for a brow refresh, and I was so happy to see how beautifully the eyeliner healed.

The main role here is played by the skin. The skin is very smooth, firm, and dense, which allows the pigment to heal so cleanly and evenly. Because of this skin quality, the result looks very crisp and elegant.

Not every eyelid heals the same way, and classic eyeliner is not always the best option for everyone.
