We had the sweetest time this week at Jeffers Greenhouse in Grand Rapids picking out flowers to bring some extra summer color and beauty to our Main Campus! Thanks to funding from Thrivent Action Teams, residents Evelyn, Jenny, Adrian, and Sean spent the morning picking out flowers, enjoying the sunshine, and of course stopping to smell the flowers along the way.

Once we got back to campus, Becky and Sarah helped plant everything and bring it all to life. It’s amazing what a little sunshine and God’s creation can do.

Thank you again to Endeavor Financial Group of Thrivent for funding this amazing beautification project!

This week, Filling Homes kicked off summer with a Staff Appreciation BBQ! We are so thankful for everyone who helped cook, prepare meals, serve, and deliver food across our service areas to make the day special.

As summer begins, we are grateful for the fun, fellowship, and meaningful moments ahead. Most of all, we are thankful for a team that serves others each day with Christ-like love and joy.

It was such a blessing to celebrate Tim’s 61st birthday today with two of his favorite things: McDonald's and Christmas! 🎄🍔

A huge thank you to a McDonald’s supporter for generously donating an amazing assortment of meals, and to our caring staff who transformed the Atrium into a Christmas wonderland complete with trees, stockings, music, and plenty of holiday cheer for Tim’s special day. ❤️

Families traveled from near and far to join us on Sunday, May 17, for our 4th Annual Family Picnic at Main Campus! With nearly 70 guests in attendance, the afternoon was filled with food, laughter, fellowship, and special moments shared between residents and their loved ones.

We are so grateful for the trust and partnership we share with families and loved spending the afternoon together. Thanks for being part of such a special day! ❤️

Life is easier when you have help from friends!

This week, David joined Filling Homes staff at Holgate Local Schools’ annual Roots to Results career fair, where we shared the many ways we work together and the meaningful careers available in the developmental disabilities field. Through his communication device, David proudly shared about his own career as a DJ and the ways his support team helps him pursue his passion for music.
