What does your prayer life look like?

People assume my prayer
life looks so beautiful. 😂👇

Candles. 🕯️
Journal open.
Soft worship music playing.
Eloquent words flowing straight
to the throne of grace. 😂✝️

And then there’s reality. 👇

*stranded on an island
screaming HELP into the sky* 😂🆘

That’s it.
That’s the prayer life. 😂✝️

Not pretty.
Not poetic.
Not Pinterest worthy. 😂🙌🏽

Just desperate and honest
and fully convinced God
can hear me even
when I sound like
someone who hasn’t seen
civilization in three years. 😂✝️

And here’s the thing —

He does hear me. 🙌🏽

Even the ugly prayers.
Even the scared ones.
Even the ones that
sounded like —

God I don’t think
