This week we are talking about the bully brain. I don’t know about you, but I have often struggled with having a bully brain, meaning that the thoughts in my mind are often accusatory and against myself. A lot of the time, the thoughts center around not being good enough. I don’t know where that comes from, but I didn’t recognize it until just a few years ago. Sadly, these thoughts can get in the way of pursuing better health. It’s hard for the body to heal when it’s against itself. Obviously, its important to love and accept ourselves. It doesnt mean that we don’t move towards change, nor does it mean that we act selfishly towards others, only thinking of ourselves. But these accusatory thoughts can hurt us and keep us from moving forward. Pray about that this week. Do you have a bully brain? Let’s learn to offer up those destructive thoughts to God, and ask Him to help us to see ourselves the way He sees us. Join me on this journey. Keep going and don’t quit. 😊💕

This week we are chatting about how we can deceive ourselves, thinking we are eating healthier and taking in far less junk food than we really are. Maybe you can relate. This week I’m asking you to pray about ways that you may be deceiving yourself in regards to what you eat. If you’re really brave, you can ask someone that you live with to be honest with you. This week, pray about and ask God to reveal to you where you may not be being honest with yourself in regard to your health journey. You can do it! I’m in this with you. 😊💕👟

This week we are talking about how our daily decisions for better health will impact our future health. We often don’t think about what our life will be like ten or twenty years from now. I don’t know about you, but I want to still be mobile, to live independently, and to prevent chronic disease as much as I can. Obviously, we can’t prevent everything, but we can do our part. I want to play with grandchildren and hopefully great grandchildren. What do you want your life to be like as you get older? The health decisions we make today will influence tomorrow in one way or another. Why not start living healthier today? Don’t wait. Keep going. You can do it! Think long-term health. 💕😊👟
