Men's Health Month is closing out, but your health runs year round.
This month we talked about andropause, the slow drop in testosterone that usually starts in a man's 40s and 50s.

The signs are easy to wave off as just getting older: low energy, mood changes, brain fog, poor sleep, low drive. Many of those overlap with mental health.

Andropause is real, it's common, and it's completely manageable. If you've felt off, don't tough it out.

Get your labs checked and ask your provider about your testosterone.
Your labs tell the real story. Check them.

When lifestyle changes are not enough, talk to your doctor.

Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is a well-documented option for men with clinically low levels. It comes as gels, injections, patches, or pellets, and it always requires ongoing monitoring by a provider.

TRT is not for everyone, the right decision begins with a conversation and a lab panel that shows where you actually stand.

Know your numbers first.
Your labs tell the real story. Check them.

Andropause is manageable, and the foundation is your daily habits.

Move your body. Strength training and regular activity support healthy testosterone.

Protect your sleep. Most testosterone is produced during deep sleep.

Manage your weight. Excess body fat can lower testosterone and worsen symptoms.

Lower your stress. Chronic stress raises cortisol, which works against testosterone.

Small, consistent changes add up. But you will not know what is working unless you track your levels.

Remeber, your labs tell the real story. Check them.

June is Men's Health Month, so let's talk about something most men do not mention: andropause.

Also called "male menopause," andropause is the gradual decline of testosterone as men age.

It typically begins in the 40s and 50s, and levels drop roughly 1% every year after age 30. About 30% of men between 40 and 79 have low testosterone.

The signs are easy to miss: low energy, mood changes, reduced muscle mass, poor sleep, and lower libido. Most men just call it "getting older."

Awareness is step one.

You cannot manage what you have not measured. Your labs tell the real story. Check them.
