Procedures that end in “lift”—facelift, lip lift, butt lift—tend to have fairly obvious results, even when they’re done well. A brow lift is different.

The goal isn’t to make the brows look lifted, but to position them in a way that reduces heaviness around the eyes. The change shouldn’t be dramatic; in fact, when it’s done well, it can be almost imperceptible. People will notice you look better; they just won’t be able to pinpoint why. For many patients, clearing up their acne is just the first step in starting to feel confident in their skin again. Addressing the scars it leaves behind is the next step, and it can be a long, challenging process. Acne scars are difficult to treat because they affect the surface texture, deeper tethering, and collagen in some cases.

Treatment takes time and a combination approach. This patient underwent multiple full-face deep laser resurfacing sessions and subcision treatments over a number of years to get this incredible result. Each treatment builds upon the last, gradually improving texture and stimulating collagen production. It requires patience, but it’s worth it!
