2025 has been one of the best (yet most difficult) years since starting my business. I worked with seven wonderful clients throughout the year. Spent an incredibly sweet period with one family for an extended timeframe (ten months). Became Carrot-approved so future clients can utilize their company’s benefits to cover postpartum services. Was interviewed by Nashville Voyager about my business. Spoke with multiple local mental health organizations about utilizing their services for future clients who may be struggling with postpartum depression and anxiety. Made many connections with other providers in a variety of fields with overlapping client needs.
My mother had a terrifying health scare over the summer that forced me to pull back dramatically on the amount of time I could spend with clients. She has stabilized for the moment, but end-stage Alzheimer’s and predictability don’t work well together. I am continuing to limit my calendar for spring 2026 due to her health needs/upcoming surgeries, and hope to be able to take more clients on as summer gets closer. I will also be starting yoga teacher training in January, and am looking forward to eventually offering prenatal/postpartum yoga in addition to postpartum care.
