Yesterday, we welcomed MNPS Academy students for a day designed to show them not just what hospitality is, but what a future in this industry can look like.

From hearing directly from hospitality professionals at Ford Theater, to touring the Hilton Downtown Nashville, Omni Nashville Hotel, and TriBrand Hotels, students experienced the many career paths and opportunities within our industry. We wrapped up at Music City Center with an inspiring conversation and lunch with a Nashville entrepreneur.

Days like this are about more than workforce development. They’re about connecting students to opportunity, inspiring future leaders, and helping the next generation see themselves as part of Nashville’s hospitality story.

Thank you to our incredible speakers (Aiden Britt, Raquel Garrahan, Whitley Keusner, Raj Ghai, Paul Whitten, and Darius McDonald), the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp., Wise Transportation and Anchor Transportation, Music City Center, our hotel partners, and all of the schools and educators who made the day possible.

Tuesday we had the privilege of hosting the Downtown Hotel GM Meeting with the Nashville Downtown Partnership. We heard from the Partnership, MNPD, Safe Bar, the Mayor's Office of Nightlife, Jigsaw (GNHA's government relations firm), and more! It was an impactful gathering of downtown GMs to share resources, encourage discussion, and support each other.
