SAVE THE DATE for Friendship Day, celebrated on June 2, FLC’s 24-hour online day of giving that highlights the importance of connection and community at Friends Life Community.
Clay and Andy’s story began during Pedal Pals at FLC in the fall of 2025.
�While waiting for their turns to bike, they started sitting together on the turf and quickly formed a connection that stood out.
Each afternoon, Andy would wait for Clay’s bus, calling his name and tapping the ground beside him until Clay came to sit down, and from there they would spend the rest of the day laughing together.
They’ve developed their own way of communicating, showing that meaningful friendships don’t have to follow a typical pattern, but what makes that story meaningful is how we continue to show up for one another, staying present and reminding each other that we matter.
Their connection is genuine and brings joy to those around them.
