Happy Fathers Day to the legend of RDP!
He brought me into this world, he taught me what it is to be a man, he thankfully never made good on his threat to “take me out of this world”, although the car did get pulled over often, right now!
I put him through it and he still managed to keep that smile on his face, while always supporting me. He must not be ok in the head. But much like his smile, I think I inherited that too, so I guess we gonna be alright.
Hard, doubled over belly laugher, storyteller, rememberer of the most obscure names of people he interacted w once 40 years ago,constant supporter, Tar Heel TV yeller, best father, that’s my dad.
Cheers to my pops, the often imitated, but never to be duplicated, Doug Perry, as well as all the other Fathers out there crushing the gig!
