Country icon, philanthropist, entrepreneur and musician Dolly Parton has passed away at age 80, leaving behind a legacy of compassion that touched generations. Beyond her iconic songwriting and extraordinary generosity toward humans, Dolly also loved animals. ❤️

For more than three decades, Dolly and Dollywood supported efforts to rescue, rehabilitate and protect bald eagles and other birds of prey. Dolly also used her voice to encourage compassion for companion animals. She supported animal protection campaigns and, in 2022, launched Doggy Parton, a line of dog apparel and accessories that supported Willa B. Farms Animal Rescue and its work helping animals in need. 🐶

Dolly spent her life showing just how much one person can accomplish when they're brave enough to try. Rest in peace, Dolly. You will never be forgotten.

🚨 Canadian wildfire smoke is affecting air quality across parts of the U.S. Midwest and Northeast.

If you have COPD or another chronic lung disease, even short-term exposure to smoke can make breathing more difficult and trigger symptoms.

If smoke is affecting your area:
-Stay indoors when possible.
-If you must go outside, consider wearing an N95 respirator.
-Keep indoor air as clean as you can by closing windows and using air filtration if available.
-Check your local air quality before heading outdoors.
