As we prepare for possible severe weather along the Gulf Coast, we want to remind our Seaside Wellness family that your health, safety, and well-being come FIRST!

A little preparation today can make a big difference tomorrow.

🌀 YOUR HURRICANE SAFETY CHECKLIST

☐ 💊 Medications First! Check prescription supplies, request necessary refills early, and keep medications in waterproof containers. Have a list of medications, allergies, and medical conditions available.

☐ 🩺 Medical Needs: Charge medical devices, arrange backup power when needed, and prepare supplies for chronic health conditions. Plan ahead for refrigerated medications.

☐ 💧 Water & Food: Have at least 1 gallon of water per person per day for several days, ideally a week’s supply, along with nonperishable food.

☐ 🔦 Emergency Kit: Gather flashlights, batteries, first-aid supplies, portable chargers, and important documents.

☐ 📱 Stay Connected: Charge your phones, check on elderly neighbors and loved ones, and follow local emergency alerts.

☐ 🏡 Protect Your Family: Know your evacuation zone, secure outdoor belongings, and never drive through floodwaters.

🌊 To Our Seaside Family — Thank You. 💙

The past two weeks have certainly tested our ability to ride the wave! 🌊

Moving into our new office has been exciting, but it has also come with some unexpected challenges—especially being without reliable internet until just a couple of days ago.

Our team has literally been trying to keep Seaside running using hotspots from our phones, sometimes standing near windows just to get enough signal. Calls dropped. Internet connections disappeared. Systems moved slower than we wanted. And unfortunately, it caused us to get behind in some areas, including messages and prescription requests.

We know that delays in healthcare can be frustrating, and we sincerely appreciate your patience while we worked through circumstances that were largely outside of our control.

But what we really want to say today is THANK YOU.

The overwhelming majority of our patients have been incredibly kind, patient, encouraging, and understanding. You have walked into our new office and celebrated with us. You have offered encouraging words, brought flowers and gifts, checked on us, laughed with us through the chaos, and reminded us why we do what we do.

Those moments have meant more to our team than you probably realize. 💙

Seaside Wellness has never just been an office or a building. Over the past six years, it has become a community—a Seaside family.

We aren’t perfect. Technology certainly isn’t perfect. And sometimes, despite our best efforts, things simply don’t go according to plan.

But we will continue showing up, fixing what needs to be fixed, learning, improving, and doing everything we can to care for the people who trust us with their health.

The waters were a little rough getting here, but we made it through. 🌊

Our internet is finally up, our new office is coming together, and we’re working hard to get caught back up and settled into our new home.

Multiple Sclerosis.
