The pushup rule no one tells women over 40:

Modifying isn’t quitting. It’s training.

Most women think the knee pushup is the “easy version,” the one you do until you graduate to a “real” pushup. That’s backwards.

The knee pushup is the version that lets you build strength with good form. The regular push-up is the version you can use to test it.

I do both and also train my clients to do the same. In the same set. I’ll start on my toes, and the second my chest stops leading, my hips start sagging, or my shoulders start shrugging up, I drop to my knees and finish strong.

That’s not stepping down. That’s training the way your body can get stronger and build endurance too!

Save this for the next time you feel guilty about modifying. Celebrate what you can do, don’t fixate on what you can’t do!

And if you currently need an option to build up to a knee push-up , try elevating your hands on the 3 or 4th stair in your home, or putting your hands against the wall! Start where you are and keep on moving girls!

Not to get strong.

The hardest part of any walk isn't the walk.

It's the 90 seconds before, the part where you talk yourself out of it. So I stopped negotiating with myself.

Phone down. Shoes on. Door open.

Koda doesn't care if I "feel like it." He goes. And I go with him.

That's the whole thing. One walk a day, 30 days. You pick the pace. You pick the distance. The win is that you went. Not for weight loss. Not for a number. Try this quick work break series:
✨ Straight leg lift to the front
✨ Side abductor lift
✨ Rear leg lift with slight forward lean
✨ Bonus: knee extension kick

Start with 10 reps each → build to 20
