Welcome our new Yoga instructor, Elise Ruggiero!❤ SOOO excited to have her join us!🎉

• Elise Ruggiero brings 20+ years of experience in dance, voice, theatre, television, live production, performance, and instruction, including live/studio vocals, songwriting, production, and recording.

• She began training at Dance Plus, Inc. under her mother and other teachers, studying ballet, tap, jazz, theatre, hip hop, modern, and more, alongside home-studio training.

• She further trained with leading dance, theatre, and film instructors through Broadway Dance Center and Steps N.Y., including Frank Hatchett, Chet Walker, Rennie Harris, Abron Glover, Finis Jhung, Beverley Brown, and others.

• As a teen, she worked professionally in entertainment: opening for singer/songwriter Roberta Flack; performing as a featured dancer/vocalist in New York City clubs, lounges, theatres, Madison Square Garden, and other iconic venues; and appearing in music videos and local and international television productions.

• In 2021, she partnered with Pennsylvania Classical Ballet Academy on The Nutcracker at the Roxy Theatre in Northampton, PA, coordinating and planning marketing events, choreographing, working backstage, and performing. She was among the first women to portray Frau Drosselymeyer, bringing a new twist to the ballet.

• At Pennsylvania Classical Ballet Academy, under Dana Nederostek, she taught and choreographed contemporary, jazz funk, tap, contemporary acro, and all levels including the Pre-Professional program. Her teaching and choreography have been showcased to leading ballet professionals.

• Her work has appeared in the Philadelphia Youth Dance Festival, Delaware Dance Festival, and National Ballet Competition. She has collaborated with PCBA and Easton's Historic State Theatre for Nutcracker Magical Christmas Ballet, rehearsing local dancers on ballet variations and assisting across performance day.

• She became a certified yoga instructor in spring 2022; has worked as a theatre wardrobe dresser on productions including Jersey Boys and Legally Blonde: The Musical; and works on call as a stage assistant/technician for Jason Bishop's major U.S. touring magic and illusion show.

• She currently teaches Chair, Heels, Burlesque, Ballet, and Hip-Hop at Abstract Aerial Academy in Allentown, PA.
