Meeting a Legend! John Cook, keynote speaker of the 2026 Nebraska Rural Health Conference (center), is shown with employees of Antelope Memorial Hospital (l-r), Savannah (director of utilization review, compliance, quality and HIPAA) and Tanya (chief clinical operations officer). The conference (co-hosted by the Nebraska Rural Health Association (NeRHA) and the Nebraska Hospital Association) took place this week in Kearney, The event focused on critical issues such as rural workforce challenges, clinical financial performance and health care access. It was a memorable experience for both attendees!
